ATLAS Brokerage - Back office and Portfolio Management System
ATLAS Brokerage is a client/server application supporting all brokerage back office operations. It interfaces directly with Access Accounts Dimensions, Dot.Cy's accounting system. ATLAS Brokerage encompasses an MS Windows-based software (Client) and an MS-SQL Server-based database (Server). The system's architecture provides full data integrity, transaction reliability, high-speed processing, and a tight integration between the different software modules including the accounting interface. Advanced searching and reporting capabilities, intuitive interface design and a plethora of facilities for processing and analyzing data, make ATLAS Brokerage a leader in brokerage back office systems in Cyprus.
Handling of Clients/Accounts One of the unique features of ATLAS Brokerage is the way it handles client details and accounts. Client records are entered and stored in the system only once and can subsequently linked to one or more accounts without the need to re-enter the client information multiple times. Any changes to client details (such as address changes) have immediate effects on all accounts the client is linked to. Searching capabilities enable the user of the system to find easily all accounts associated with a certain client.
Transactions ATLAS Brokerage supports over 60 different types of transactions. Examples of transactions include the daily stock market trades, customer payments and receipts, broker payments and receipts, dividends, debentures interest, cash transfer between accounts, stock margins, etc. Such a variety enables detailed reporting and analysis of available data. Additional transaction codes can easily added in the system.
Portfolio Valuations/Corporate Actions ATLAS Brokerage provides portfolio valuation facilities for both direct and margin accounts. Corporate actions such as stock split, dividends, and share bonus can be processed automatically.
Other Modules/Tools The system provides the following modules: historical quotes of securities and indices, advanced account commission and agent commission capabilities by the use of commission scales and/or flat fees, definition of public companies, financing companies and investment consultants, definition of account/agent/client/broker groups to aid analysis and reporting, disclosure of major shareholders, import of daily CSE transactions, find/cancel transactions, customer payments/receipts, automated as well as manual entry of stock and cash portfolio transactions, brokers payments/receipts, financing firms payments/receipts, transfer between accounts, cheques printing, interest capitalization, agents and accounts commissions, contract notes/stock exchange documents, module/account/report/transaction permissions, etc.
Searching/Reporting All system modules come with advanced searching and reporting capabilities. Complex searches with AND or OR conditions can be performed on any type of data. Search results can be printed, faxed, or exported in different data formats such as Excel, Word, HTML, PDF, etc.
Other Features Many analysis features of ATLAS Brokerage are unique compared to other products. Data display in grids can be grouped at multiple levels, sorted by any column, and filtered in any conceivable way. Data can be exported in Excel for further processing and analysis. The system's interface can be customized by each individual user and saved in the computer's registry. Each time a user logs into the system, he/she uses the same customized interface.
